Leandro Trossard spoke after Arsenal’s hard-fought victory over West Ham United, a match marked by controversy over the disallowed late equalizer for the opposition.
“I’m happy. We knew what we had to do, which was to secure the three points,” Trossard said. “It was a tough game. We understood beforehand what they were fighting for, and they put up a fierce fight. It’s great for us to achieve the three points here and return home victorious.”
Reflecting on his goal, he added: “It was a fantastic run from Martin Ødegaard. He delivered a great pass to get the ball to me. At that moment, I put all my power and precision into the ball to put it into the net. Scoring that goal was a huge relief.”
