Orenburg secured a 1-0 victory over Krylya Sovetov in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The only goal of the match was scored by Evgeny Bolotov in the 24th minute.
With 29 points after 29 matches, Orenburg moved up to 11th place in the RPL standings. Krylya Sovetov, also on 29 points, sit just behind in 12th. Both teams are now outside the relegation playoff zone, holding a two-point lead over Akron Tolyatti (27 points), who are in 13th place.
In the final round on May 17, Orenburg will travel to face Krasnodar, while Krylya Sovetov will host Akron at home on the same day.
