Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Andrey Lunyov has revealed his team’s priority for the current season after their 2-1 win over Krasnodar in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League on May 11. Earlier, Krasnodar had beaten Dynamo on penalties in the Russian Cup final (0-0, 6-5 on spot kicks).
When asked if he would trade the outcome of the cup match for the result of this league game, Lunyov replied: “Of course. I think all the fans would agree too.” His comments were reported by Championat correspondent Nikolay Baranov.
With 42 points, Dynamo currently sit eighth in the league table, while Krasnodar are second with 63 points. Zenit St. Petersburg lead the standings with 65 points.
