Held at the Beijing Shijingshan Shougang Ice Hockey Arena since May 1, the event features eight VCT CN teams battling in a double-elimination format. On opening day, XLG and JDG each won 2-0 against TEC and TYL respectively, securing early victories. The following day, AG and EDG defeated TE and DRG, advancing to the winners’ bracket. {IMAGE_2}
In the losers’ bracket, TYL eliminated TEC 2-1, and DRG beat TE 2-0, keeping their playoff hopes alive. On the evening of May 4, two winners’ bracket matches directly determined spots for the London Masters. XLG and EDG, both dominant, won with clean sweeps, clinching their slots in the Masters. The two teams will face off in the winners’ bracket final on May 8, competing for a spot in the grand final. {IMAGE_3}
JDG, after losing 0-2 to XLG, fell to DRG in the losers’ bracket and were eliminated. TYL also missed out after a 1-2 loss to AG in a three-map series. This leaves the final CN region spot for the London Masters to be decided between DRG and AG in a decisive match on May 8.
The event has also featured side activities, including the Valorant Player Party, Valorant Music Party, and Valorant Basketball Party, all held concurrently to boost local youth culture and create a vibrant social scene in western Beijing. A CityPASS city pass has been launched, linking Beijing’s lifestyle and cultural tourism spots along a “one central axis, four directions, and multiple landmarks.”
According to the schedule, the Beijing Stop will reach its peak from May 8 to 10, with a viewing party at Sanlitun PH also taking place. Fans can visit offline activities for an immersive experience. Additionally, Wang Junkai will perform an exhibition match of Valorant on May 10 at the Shougang Ice Hockey Arena.
