The Serie A clash between Roma and Lazio, originally scheduled for Sunday, has been moved to Monday at 7:45 PM local time. The decision comes as a result of the Masters 1000 tennis final taking place on the same weekend in Rome.
According to the city of Rome, the change from the initial date and time (Sunday, 11:30 AM) was necessary to manage public order and urban mobility alongside a globally renowned event like the Italian Open tennis tournament, which is being held at the Foro Italico.
Roma currently sit fifth in the Serie A standings with 67 points, level with fourth-placed AC Milan, as they battle for a spot in next season’s Champions League. Their city rivals Lazio are ninth with 51 points.
