Eduard Spertsyan, captain of Krasnodar, is dealing with a back injury, which led to his substitution during the match against Moscow’s Dynamo. This was confirmed by the club’s head coach, Murad Musayev.
The 29th round MIR RPL encounter in Moscow ended in a 2-1 defeat for Krasnodar. The Armenian midfielder was replaced in the 83rd minute.
“Why was Spertsyan substituted? Edik has back issues. He is showing a heroic character,” Musayev said to a Match TV correspondent.
In the final round of the RPL, Krasnodar will host Orenburg at home on May 17.
